Decathlon’s mission is to Move People to the Wonders of Sports ! In order to increase our awareness and touch more sports users, Decathlon Philippines is developing its activities and exploring a new channel of business : wholesale.
To accompany this promising development, we are looking for a Country Wholesale Leader, able to write, execute and pilot our strategies of wholesale, including B2B, B2B2C and our external digital marketplace partners.
Job objectives
Define the wholesale commercial strategic direction & objectives of the wholesale project
Lead all activity on the project, stakeholders & partners
Increase Decathlon’s notoriety & market share
Sourcing & develop the Partner`s portfolio
Responsibilities
Create the strategic framework for the project, commercial operations and economic performance evaluation
Define main partners on the market to explore potential future opportunities and sustainable collaboration with them
Lead the wholesale project team (2 people to start) & wider stakeholder group on the wholesale project (services, retail, logistics, supply, Wholesale SEA team) through regular meetings and milestone debriefs
Lead the understanding and development of new key processes for the business, and share with the relevant teams
Report to the project's governance committee, providing insights and recommendations into business opportunities, performances, and to align our wholesale activity to the global strategy
Represent Decathlon to the partners, including regular meetings with each partner, as their referent for Decathlon
Diversify risk to the wholesale project by multiplying partnerships with several companies
Negotiate favorable terms with partners and sign contracts for new partners and additional business models with existing partners
Lead the development of wholesale catalogs/offer and curation of product ranges per partner, considering all key factors (availability, margin, relevance, customer etc). Work directly with the commercial team
Analyze performance per partner at product level, considering availability and pricing
Review the economic performance monthly and forecast activity for the coming months/years
Monitor the performance, identify alerts and propose solutions
Who you are
You are passionate about sports and practicing sports on a regular basis
5+ years experience in corporate sales, with proven track record
Digital enthusiast
Analytical and has a knack for problem-solving.
Proven leadership and good motivational communication skills
Flexible and agile : the job is both strategic and can sometimes be operational
