We are looking for a Retail Dispatch Planner to ensure the right stock is at the right place and time for our client. The RDP supports the distribution zone with the best dispatch equation locally to guarantee the lowest shortage, the targeted DSI and to put the settings according to the dispatch tactic.
1. Mange the Supply Chain Strategy
Create the Game Plan: Develop concrete distribution tactics (start, peak, end-of-season) tailored for specific sports and clusters of stores.
Pilot: Analyze sales trends and market factors to prepare an accurate sales forecast and define ideal stock levels (stock norms) for every season.
Risk Manager: Define and execute action plans to prevent product shortages (penury) for key items, ensuring product availability is maximized.
2. Drive Inventory & Sales Alignment
Execute and Optimize: Implement your tactical plans, managing the flow of products through all seasons—from new product ramp-ups to major holiday peaks.
Challenge & Align: Weekly, you will compare your inventory forecast against the Commercial Team’s sales targets, challenging stakeholders to ensure a realistic and aligned business plan.
Be Agile: Conduct weekly analyses to quickly detect changes in demand or trends, and adapt the distribution plan immediately.
Collaborate: Partner closely with the Logistics Team to ensure an efficient and smooth product-picking and delivery process.
3. Support Store Growth
Project Coordinator: Manage the inventory and logistics side of all new store openings and store modifications (upsizing/downsizing), ensuring a seamless setup.
System Mastery: Use our internal tools to manage product allocation and supply parameters for all retail formats
Exceptional Availability: Concrete, well-explained availability tactics are fully implemented, leading to high on-shelf availability for key products.
Forecast Accuracy: Sales forecasts are meticulously prepared and aligned with commercial strategy, ensuring zero delays in setting up seasonal inventory.
Operational Readiness: 100% of all supply chain settings and tactics are accurately configured in the system before each new season or sales period begins.
Inventory Health: Proactive management of stock shortages and maintaining an optimal Days of Stock Index (DSI) across your product portfolio.
Strategic Alignment: Strong weekly performance analysis and alignment between your inventory forecast and the commercial team's sales targets.
