Decathlon Philippines is expanding and we're looking for an additional teammate to join our Concept Team as In-Store Comms Designer! 

The Concept Team comprises creative strategists who design compelling physical product displays to attract customers and maximize sales. They blend interior design, marketing, and sales psychology to create engaging in-store experiences, driving purchases and ensuring brand guideline adherence. As an In-Store Comms Designer you will sustainably increase Decathlon Philippines’ market share by actively collaborating with stakeholders to co-build Sport Projects that effectively move and inspire people through the wonders of Sport. Your primary goal is to deliver best-in-class, end-to-end customer experiences, ensuring every action reflects our commitment to excellence.


đź“‹Responsibilities:

Sharp Decathlon Brand Experience across all our Physical Stores. 

  1. Collaborate with our United Retail Lab and Hub Asia on the implementation of future winning omnichannel customers’ journeys. 
  2. Ensure support to Retail Teams for openings and maintenance of existing stores, guaranteeing compliance to brand and layout guidelines. 
  3. Be up to date with the industry’s best practices through competitors' visits and research lifestyle, demographics and merchandising trends. 
  4. Act in alignment to the organization’s culture, products, image and target market 
  5. Assist the Concept Leader in monitoring and managing costs, work within budget, liaise with suppliers, source elements, oversee the production, delivery, and implantation of materials, and brief teams on arranging displays. 

Boosting External Value Perception by offering an easy and quick Shopping Experience; Support the end-to-end visual merchandising process. 

  1. Collaborate with the Sports Visual Merchandisers following global guidelines and optimize the LM (linear meters) across all Philippines Stores. 
  2. Collaborate with Commercial Leaders, Supply team, and Retail Teams to ensure the plans are implemented correctly. I am part of the commercial ecosystem, I participate in product training, range choice process and seasonal launch for my sports.(Validation process of the merchandising plans, Selection of the products and visits to the stores with the Commercial and/or Communications Teams). 
  3. Ensure and boost the easy and quick shop experience. I test physical layouts with a panel of pilot stores and make adjustments based on performance and feedback. 
  4. Facilitate customers’ buying decisions by ensuring the product information is readily accessible (at eye level, and showing relevant information).


🎯 Key Skills to be Successful:

  1. Proven work experience in Visual Merchandising and/or Visual Management
  2. Solid experience in field visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays and space utilizationsuch as but not limited to:
    1. Monthly Staging
      - Key Visuals
      - Nonstructural POSM (Point of Sales Marketing)  - Empire Visual, Printed Cards (A4, A3, among others), Wobbler/Violator (Stop Rayons, hang signs), Shelf Talker (Balisage), Cassette Visual (Banners, Standees), Product Sticker, and Special POSMs 
    2. Special Activations 
    3. Product Photoshoots & Editing 
    4. Animation Visuals is a plus 
    5. Adobe After Effects Visuals is a plus
  3. Must have proficient knowledge of the following tools: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or other visual design tools (Adobe After Effects, CAD/Sketchup is a plus).
  4. Ability to analyze sales reports and survey results. 
  5. Mobility; ability to move from store to store to do regular checks on communication materials to see its implementation according to Brand Guidelines and Commercial Campaigns. 
  6. Organized: has the ability to liaise between several departments and pays excellent attention to detail.
